The top left: is before I started working out.. like 3 years ago. I was a swimmer but I didn’t do anything other than organized sports and I didn’t watch what I ate.
second row on the left: I started working out…and counting calories obsessively… and I genuinely thought I was FAT. like HORRIBLY FAT. look at the difference in my face… I was so angular and pointy and gaunt… —-> on the right BAM boss ass bitch

Sometimes I look back and think wow, I really was so tiny. and it amazes me that I can still remember how I thought about myself at that time. Like, I hated my body. HATED IT.
now I have a lovely ass and boobs and I don’t count calories and I lift heavy and I SMILE SMILE SMILE.
I am in loving myself. am so strong and I work so hard and I am learning to treat myself with care.
and I now know that I am WORTHY OF LOVE and RESPECT and that I don’t have to do things just because other people want me to. MY BODY, MY LIFE, MY FUCKING RULES.
so, that’s the kind of progress I’m excited about
